What is a steering column?

What to do if the puller breaks down at a construction site?
If the train has broken down and there is no longer any possibility of travelling:
- remove the wheel,
- place a wooden block under the bridge,
- leave three wheels from the construction site to the service.
🔧 How to replace the steering rack?
- Heat the connector at the steering cylinder - it is often glued.
- Knock out the pivot at the hub - use a heavy hammer as the head is pressed in a conical manner.
- Before installing the new rod, apply glue to the thread.
- Adjust the wheel alignment by screwing the joint in or out.
- Tighten the locknut to lock the position.
